GiveOut Day!

Give OUT Day, May 9th, sparked new giving and enthusiasm for these projects.  We’ve received a $50,000 increase in matching funding to continue our effort!  We’re now aiming to meet our goals by June 1st!

After our successful NYE! matching challenge with Brown Boi Project  and Trans Justice Giving Project we focused our efforts on May 9th GiveOutday to encourage donors to support the leadership of young people, people of color and intersectional movement building.  Please visit our GiveOUT Day page to support:

  • Next Generation donor activists: Social Justice Fund NW LGBTQ Giving Project  supporting cross-class donor organizing, leadership development of new donors and funding grassroots organizing in LGBTQ communities.

  • Intersectional Movement Building: Immigration Reform– Standing with our brothers and sisters in our shared struggle.

  • Queer Women of Color Reproductive Justice: Sister Song will host a gathering of LGBTQ Indigenous women and women of color who are leaders in the reproductive justice movement in order to help strengthen a shared vision, build support of peer-leadership, strengthen intersectional movement alignment and develop potential policy agenda action items.

Overall, our goal is to raise $75,000 for these under-resourced efforts from next gen, new and diverse donor communities and have those contributions matched by leading major donors.
